TPMS Check Bradford
Tyre pressure is essential for vehicle and passenger safety.
A vehicles tyre pressure must be checked regularly; proper maintenance will prolong the life of your tyres.
The importance of the correct tyre pressure
The correct air pressure must be maintained at all times to ensure safety, tyre life, driving performance and reduced fuel consumption.
It is known that tyres lose up to one gram per square inch (psi) per month. Therefore, it is always important to check all tyres, including spare tyres at least once a month and especially before setting off on long journeys.
At MCC Manchester Road we strongly recommend that you check your tyre pressure monthly. TPMS

How to check tyre pressure
- The tyres should be checked when the tyres are cold (at least three hours after driving).
- Compare the measured air pressure level with the level indicated in the car door.
- If the measured figure is higher, vent the air until the figure coincides with that indicated in the car door.
- If the measured figure is lower, inflate with air until the figure coincides with that indicated in the car door.
